The service

MyTakeoff is a browser-based tool for measuring quantities (linear, area, volume and count) from an uploaded construction drawing. Measuring itself requires no account. A free account additionally unlocks cross-device item library sync; paid plans (Student, Pay-as-you-go, Pro Monthly, Pro Annual) unlock exporting your results — see Billing and subscriptions below, and our pricing page for current plans and prices.

Billing and subscriptions

Paid plans are billed through Stripe, our payment processor — we never receive or store your card details.

• Prices shown are exclusive of VAT where applicable; VAT is calculated and added at checkout based on your location.
• Student, Pro Monthly and Pro Annual are recurring subscriptions that renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime and will keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for, with no partial refund for the unused remainder.
• Pay-as-you-go is a one-time purchase granting 24 hours of export access from the moment of purchase. It does not renew and, since access is granted immediately, is non-refundable.
• The Student rate requires a valid academic email address at signup. We may move you to the standard Pro rate going forward if this can no longer be verified.

Your responsibility for measurements

MyTakeoff is a measuring aid. You are responsible for verifying that scale calibration and measurements are correct before relying on them for quotes, orders, or any commercial decision. MyTakeoff is provided without warranty of accuracy or fitness for a particular purpose, and we are not liable for losses arising from measurements taken using the tool.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the tool for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the service
• Use automated systems to scrape or overload the service

Your content

Drawings you upload are processed entirely in your own browser (see our Privacy Policy) — we do not receive, store, or claim any rights over them.

Changes to the service

Features may be added, changed or removed as the product develops, including the introduction of paid plans. We'll aim to keep core measuring functionality free, as described on our pricing page, but this is not a guarantee of any specific feature remaining unchanged indefinitely.
